Guidewire Tester
Location: Plano (TX), Indianapolis (IN), Boston (MA), Seattle (WA), Portsmouth (NH) - Onsite / Hybrid Duration: 6 months (extendable) Pay Range: $40-45/Hour on W2 only Note: Applicant must be willing to work on W2.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Guidewire Tester with strong functional testing experience on Guidewire PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter applications. The role involves end-to-end testing of Guidewire transactions, validation of business rules and integrations, and support of Agile delivery teams to ensure high quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire applications
- Test Guidewire transactions such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements, FNOL, Claims lifecycle.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and UI screens.
- Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA / ALM.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts and developers.
- Support UAT and release activities.
Required Skills
- 3–7 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire testing (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter).
- Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to test automation (Selenium / Playwright)
- API testing using Postman
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Guidewire Cloud/SaaS exposure
