Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• Blood bank, limited microbiology, and hematology experience required
• ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS required

Assignment Details

• Schedule varies Monday through Sunday.
• Hours: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
• No local candidates within 50 miles.
• Facility will only consider Medical Technologist and Medical Lab Scientist candidates. Medical Lab Technician candidates will not be considered.
