If empowering students to find their voice inspires you, consider an exciting opportunity serving local schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ProCare Therapy is seeking a SLP for a school-based, contracted position near Lucerne, IN for the 26/27 school semester. This role supports learners of all ages, enhancing their communication abilities and helping them flourish socially, academically, and emotionally.

Your expertise will directly impact students through individualized plans crafted in coordination with teachers and families. The day-to-day environment is dynamic, with opportunities for both assessment and hands-on intervention. You’ll experience the satisfaction of seeing your clinical skills translate to real-world progress for your students.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure  as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and caregivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Consult with teachers and staff on communication strategies and classroom modifications
  • Provide support and education for families on at-home strategies to reinforce progress
  • Stay abreast of best practices and legislative requirements for school-based speech therapy
