Salary: $35 to $40 an hour plus bonuses

After School Instructors and Assistants needed for Elementary School - Age Movement and Creativity programs located in multiple Glendale locations, after school 3- 6 PM . We are looking for people who will share our passion for education, positive encouragement and making a difference in the lives of students. Were hiring enthusiastic individuals for locations in Glendale ( 91026 area) with positions beginning the end of July through June 2027.

Yogativity is a fun blend of kids yoga, stretching, science, games and fun. Training is provided.

Training is provided for all programs. We will provide daily curriculum, plans, games and materials for each class.

Students are grouped by grade levels with class sizes maximum 20 students to two Yogativity staff, you will meet with three groups of 20 students per day, 3- 6 PM at locations in Glendale, CA.

What you will be doing:

• Lead (or assist) with after school instruction for students.

• College students, teachers, TAs, retirees, parents, are encouraged to apply
• Effective group management skills
• Energetic, kind, and patient personality
• Punctual and reliable, with access to a reliable form of transportation

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Experience working with youth in an educational, recreational, or after-school setting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable leading groups of students and managing classroom behavior

Education

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Bachelors degree or working on one (Education or related field preferred)
• Ability to pass a company instructional assessment

Additional Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to actively engage in both indoor and outdoor program settings. Responsibilities may include:

• Standing, walking, and moving throughout program spaces
• Lifting and carting materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Supervising students in active, sometimes high-energy environments
• Managing occasional interruptions and dynamic situations
• What your schedule will look like: Monday through Friday afternoons in person at school sites, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, 3:00 to 6:00 (3 hours). Occasionally, you may be asked to work longer hours for scheduled special event days, which are scheduled in advance.
