Retail Consultant

Key Responsibilities Engage customers to understand their wireless needs and recommend appropriate products and services Walk from behind the register (when safe to do so) to engage customers on the sales floor Sell mobile devices, rate plans, accessories, and protection plans Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets (activations, upgrades, accessory attach rate, etc.) Demonstrate product features and educate customers on device functionality Maintain knowledge of current promotions, pricing, and carrier updates Accurately process transactions, activations, upgrades, and account changes Resolve customer concerns and provide post-sale support Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and inventory accuracy Perform cleaning duties for front and back of house Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Promote positive reviews on google and carrier surveys Promote referrals and repeat customers Sales & Performance Expectations Achieve monthly sales goals for: o New line activations o Upgrades o Accessory sales o Revenue Maintain high customer satisfaction scores Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of retail or sales experience preferred (wireless industry a plus) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Basic computer and POS system proficiency Preferred Skills Experience with wireless carriers Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Ability to upsell and cross-sell eAectively Bilingual skills (a plus, depending on market) Compensation & Benefits Hourly base pay + commission Performance-based bonuses and incentives (spiAs) Opportunities for career growth and advancement Employee discounts on wireless products and services Work Environment Retail store setting with high customer interaction Standing for extended periods Fast-paced, goal-driven environment Inventory counts & cash handling skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Manual dexterity for handling devices and accessories Ability to perform cleaning and organization activities Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
