Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Wound Care to join our healthcare team. The RN Wound Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with wounds, ostomies, pressure injuries, and other skin conditions. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, promote healing, and prevent complications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient wounds and skin conditions
• Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
• Perform wound dressing changes and specialized wound treatments
• Monitor wound healing progress and report changes to physicians
• Educate patients, families, and staff regarding wound prevention and care
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and wound documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Assist in preventing pressure ulcers and skin breakdown
• Provide recommendations for appropriate wound care supplies and treatments
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to wound management
• Ensure compassionate, patient-centered care at all times

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Wound care experience preferred
