Travel Radiology Special Procedures Technologist - $2,428 per week

Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week placement in Lake Worth, Florida. Position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days, and is a travel assignment. Position Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Key Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures; report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards. Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and utilize the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) national certification; state licensing as required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Desired: BLS, ARRT (VI), 2 years (Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment).
