Ovadia Plastic Surgery is a growing, physician-owned plastic and reconstructive surgery practice. Our main office is in Lower Manhattan, with offices in Millburn, NJ and a new location opening in Jersey City. Our work includes breast reconstruction, gender-affirming surgery, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic surgery.

We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager to help run the business side of the practice. This is a hands-on role in a lean, fast-moving practice: some days you'll be building systems and managing staff, and other days you'll be helping wherever the team needs it most. This role is based in our Manhattan office, with occasional travel to our New Jersey locations.

What you'll do

- Oversee day-to-day operations across all office locations

- Manage and support administrative staff (office and surgical coordinators); hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance

- Support prior authorizations, insurance verification, and communication with insurance companies

- Run payroll and HR administration

- Manage vendors and contracts; monitor and order medical and office supplies

- Build and improve workflows, policies, and patient experience

- Track scheduling, consult conversion, and other operational metrics and report regularly to the physician

- Support hospital credentialing, licensing, and compliance paperwork

What we're looking for

- Medical practice or office management experience (3+ years preferred)

- Hands-on experience with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and working directly with insurance companies

- Comfort with payroll, HR basics, and reading financial reports

- Surgical, plastic surgery, or aesthetics experience strongly preferred

- Multi-location experience a plus

- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning problems end to end

- Experience with ModMed and Epic a plus

Compensation

$80,000–$100,000 salary, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus.
