In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Responsibilities: • Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations Available to work weekends as needed. Qualifications: • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Outstanding time management and organizational skills Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
