We're looking for a Global Pricing & Commercial Models Lead — a high-impact role at the heart of how we compete and grow. This is your opportunity to shape the way a global organization prices its portfolio, structures its commercial offerings, and captures value in the market. This role sits at the center of our competitiveness and profitability agenda, spanning portfolio pricing, deal pricing, commercial model design, value capture, and pricing governance. You won't be pushing approvals — you'll be a true strategic business partner with the influence to reshape how we go to market, and the hands-on involvement to make it stick. You'll lead a focused global team (3 members) and work shoulder-to-shoulder with commercial, product, service, finance, and senior leadership — bringing together the analytical rigor and commercial instinct needed to support complex deals, improve margins, and embed smarter pricing logic into the way we sell. Role In this role your main accountabilities will be: You will help shape and improve the company’s pricing and commercial architecture across the full portfolio. More specifically, you will:
- Lead the global pricing strategy across products, services and solutions — improving architecture, segmentation and value capture across the full portfolio.
- Develop and optimize commercial models that support competitiveness, growth and profitability, including recurring and lifecycle-based approaches where relevant.
- Define deal pricing frameworks, margin logic and approval principles that strengthen pricing discipline and quality without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Support and challenge strategic and complex deal pricing decisions in close partnership with commercial teams.
- Position our offerings effectively against competition across different customer and market segments.
- Partner with product, service and finance teams to improve portfolio economics and monetization.
- Translate pricing strategies into practical tools, guardrails and proposal logic — and help integrate these into proposal and quotation systems.
- Lead and develop a small global team with a strong execution and value creation mindset.
- You bring 10+ years of relevant experience across one or more of the following: pricing, commercial finance, deal economics, business or commercial strategy, portfolio management or commercial excellence — gained in a complex, international B2B environment.
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Data/Analytics or related field.
- Proven track record of leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders up to senior leadership level.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability, with a solid grasp of price, volume and margin dynamics.
- Proven experience in both portfolio pricing and deal pricing, including discount logic, floor logic and value-based pricing approaches.
- Ability to assess competitiveness, willingness-to-pay and value capture opportunities across products, services and solutions.
- Experience designing or improving commercial models across capex, recurring, service or performance-linked structures.
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance growth, competitiveness and profitability.
- Credible and constructive influencer — able to challenge and shape decisions at commercial and senior leadership level.
- Background in pricing of configurable products, solutions, services, SLAs, software or lifecycle-based offerings is a plus.
- Experience in complex B2B bid, tender or deal environments with margin optimization and pricing architecture responsibilities is a plus.
- Sector experience in industrial, energy, mobility, hardware, infrastructure or technology environments is a plus — EV charging, power systems or industrial technology in particular is a plus.
- Familiarity with proposal tools, quotation systems or CPQ environments, and data-driven pricing analytics, is an advantage is a plus.
