Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, clarifying each step with compassion and professionalism
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment with diligence, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
