Laboratory Specimen Processor- Full Time- 2nd Shift

Labcorp seeks a specimen processor for its Tulsa laboratory to prepare, identify, and route biological samples for testing. The role involves data entry, specimen handling, and meeting production standards on a second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to appropriate staging areas
• Accurately identify, label, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilities
• Enter patient information and specimen data accurately and timely
• Resolve and document problem specimens following laboratory protocols
• Maintain proper storage of excess specimen samples and meet production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to accurately identify and label biological specimens
• Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Comfortable handling biological specimens in laboratory environment
