Analytics Engineer

ANALYTICS ENGINEER

What the Job Entails: Work with internal customers to understand their data needs, and translate into technical requirements; Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract or ingest new data sources to a data warehouse, using Data Vault methodology; Build and maintain PBI semantic models that centralize business logic and simplify reporting; Monitor the availability and integrity of the data warehouse, and address accordingly; Identify opportunities to improve data quality; Contribute to and enforce internal development standards. What We Are Looking For: 7+ years of experience in a data analytics or data engineering role; Experience with SQL; Experience with dbt; Experience with DAX; Experience with PBI semantic models; Experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball); Experience with Git; Actively stays up to date with latest technologies; Leverages AI tools to increase productivity; Clear and concise communication skills. Bonus: Familiarity with or interest in Data Vault 2.0 methodology; Experience with Cloud SQL platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, ...) Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP); Experience with PBI report building; Knowledge of transportation and/or logistics.
