Employment Type: Full-Time Travel: Occasional travel for project kickoff meetings, site walks, onsite coordination meetings, punch walks, client/GC meetings, and closeout support. Compensation: $80,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience Benefits: See below About the Role Corrections Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Hardline Project Manager to support our Detention Equipment Contractor (DEC) division on projects from project handoff through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, coordination, communication, documentation, budget awareness, schedule management, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has strong construction project management experience and a working understanding of detention equipment, hollow metal doors and frames, detention hardware, security glazing, specialty openings, secure facilities, or similar scopes of work. This position works closely with CTG leadership, estimating, engineering, procurement, field leadership, subcontractors, general contractors, owners, and facility representatives. Client, General Contractor & Internal Coordination Serve as a primary project contact for general contractors, owners, facility representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Attend and/or lead project meetings, including remote meetings, kickoff meetings, OAC meetings, coordination meetings, and onsite coordination meetings as needed. Track decisions, action items, open issues, commitments, and follow-up items to keep projects moving. Communicate project status, risks, constraints, changes, and resource needs clearly and proactively. 3. Scheduling & Planning Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, look-ahead plans, procurement timelines, and key milestone dates. Coordinate sequencing with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, and other trades. Monitor schedule impacts and work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts before they affect project delivery. Plan upcoming work so field teams have the information, approvals, materials, access, and resources required before mobilization. 4. Contract Administration & Documentation Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, correspondence, change order requests, ASIs, drawing updates, logs, and closeout records. Maintain accurate and organized project information in company systems, including Procore or other project management platforms. Review project documents for scope impacts, coordination conflicts, and change conditions. Ensure required documentation is submitted, tracked, followed up on, and closed in a timely manner. 5. Budget, Cost Control & Change Management Monitor project budgets, labor hours, material costs, subcontractor costs, commitments, and forecasted cost impacts. Identify scope gaps, added work, delays, coordination impacts, and potential change order items early. Prepare, track, and support change order documentation in coordination with company leadership and estimating as needed. Provide regular updates on project financial status, risks, and anticipated cost or schedule impacts. 6. Procurement & Vendor Coordination Coordinate material requirements, purchase needs, approvals, releases, delivery schedules, and long-lead items. Work with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, procurement, and field leadership to ensure materials align with project schedules and approved scope. Track material status and communicate risks related to fabrication, delivery, missing information, damaged materials, or supply constraints. Verify that procurement decisions are aligned with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, and project requirements. 7. Field Coordination & Project Support Provide project-level direction, priorities, documentation, and coordination support to Foremen, field technicians, and subcontractors. Ensure field teams have current drawings, approved submittals, schedules, access requirements, safety expectations, and clear direction before work begins. Coordinate responses to field questions, site conflicts, access issues, sequencing issues, and installation-related coordination items. Support field execution through communication, planning, and issue resolution, without being assigned as onsite installation labor. 8. Quality, Safety & Secure Facility Compliance Ensure work is coordinated and delivered in accordance with project specifications, detention standards, manufacturer requirements, CTG quality expectations, and customer requirements. Coordinate inspections, punch list items, deficiency tracking, corrective actions, and final acceptance activities. Support compliance with secure facility requirements, background check requirements, site access rules, safety procedures, and customer protocols. Promote professional communication and safe, organized execution on all assigned projects. 9. Closeout & Turnover Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, O&M manuals, warranties, as-builts, training coordination, final documentation, and turnover requirements. Track incomplete items and ensure closeout requirements are completed in a timely and organized manner. Support final billing, change order reconciliation, customer acceptance, and internal project completion reviews. Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction project management, specialty contracting, detention equipment, secure facility, door/hardware, or related project delivery experience; equivalent experience may be considered. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change documentation. Experience working directly with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, facility representatives, vendors, and subcontractors. Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management and scheduling tools. Understanding of public works projects, submittal processes, change management, prevailing wage requirements, and certified payroll coordination.
