Role Overview The Compensation & Equity Analyst executes, administers and continually improves the company’s compensation and equity programs. The role manages day‑to‑day equity administration, compensation program execution, regulatory compliance, and the employee experience. Responsibilities Administer the annual compensation cycle, ensuring program integrity, accurate documentation, and timely issue resolution in collaboration with HR and Finance. Support the administration of the stock‑incentive plan, including grant issuance, share pool oversight, release schedules, company disbursement execution, and tax‑form distribution. Maintain and enhance compensation administration and HRIS systems such as Pave, Workday, ADP, and related platforms; configure, update, and automate workflows for efficiency. Analyze internal and external compensation trends and employee engagement data; develop dashboards and reports to inform leadership decisions on strategy, cost management, and program design. Improve employee experience by increasing transparency, clarifying communications, and responding to HR business partner and employee questions regarding compensation and equity awards. Collaborate with HR, Accounting, Finance, and others to build and maintain self‑serve tools that address operational issues and support ongoing program optimization. Act as the point of contact for market benchmarking surveys, consolidating data, and developing tools to support a market‑informed compensation philosophy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5+years of experience administering compensation or equity programs in a corporate HR or Total Rewards environment. Experience with compensation/em equity administration platforms and HRIS systems such as Shareworks, Pave, Workday, ADP or similar. Strong proficiency in compensation and equity administration platforms, system integrations, workflows, and employee self‑service functionality. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; ability to identify trends, forecast costs, and recommend improvements. Knowledge of compensation regulations (e.g., ERISA, FLSA) and experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex compensation information into clear employee messaging. Strong organization, project management, discretion, and problem‑solving mindset; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Benefits Ancestry offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $65,300 – $81,630, eligibility for bonus and equity, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental and vision.
