Laundry Aide Wanted!

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team at Newark Rehabilitation in Newark, OH. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our residents by performing various laundry duties in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, and fold linen and laundry items to ensure they are clean and ready for use
• Sort and categorize laundry items to ensure they are processed efficiently
• Iron and steam clothing and linens as needed
• Clean and maintain laundry equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with other members of the housekeeping and support teams to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
• Participate in infection control and quality improvement initiatives to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our residents

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in a similar role or a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to follow instructions and policies and procedures
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their families
