Print Press Operator

Local company needs Print Press Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts (evening and overnight)!

Duties

• Set up, operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
• Adjust printing machines according to job specifications
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accurate color reproduction and image clarity
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise during the printing process
• Load and unload materials into machine
• Perform quality control of printed materials
• Follow established procedures for quality control, including inspecting printed materials for defects and ensuring they meet customer requirements
• Maintain accurate production records, including job details, materials used, and quantities produced

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating printing presses
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use various tools for troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications, including layout designs and print requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

Pay $19-28/hr with potential for overtime
