Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma, short-term acute care teaching hospital, with Epic EMR experience required.

Details

• Short-term acute care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 staffed beds
• Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• On-call required on an as-needed basis
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Epic EMR — experience required
• No-fee parking available on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All required certifications must be current and included for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates, as part of their profile
• Scrubs are provided in sterile units such as OR, ICU, ER, and COVID units; all other staff may wear any color scrubs
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
