Controller Toledo, OH Nemsys is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to manage the company’s financial operations by overseeing accounting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning while partnering with leadership to support business growth. What can we offer YOU: Salary: $70,000-$95,000 per year, offer depending on experience Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k after 1 year PTO Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm In office Occasional travel The right candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Our Controller will: Oversee all accounting and financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP and all federal, state, and local financial planning. Coordinate audits and maintain relationships with external auditors. Develop financial models and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Supervise procurement and inventory management while overseeing purchasing and vendor contracts. Manage relationships with benefit, payroll, and retirement plan providers.
