Job Description Job: Mechanical Assembler Location: Solon Shift: First, 7a to 3p, Monday to Friday Pay: $15 to $16 (based off experience) Job Overview We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble mechanical and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly instructions to produce quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to work instructions, blueprints, bills of materials, and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and production documentation.
• Use hand tools and power tools including screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, torque tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Assemble electrical and electronic systems, subassemblies, wiring, and support structures.
• Install and secure components using screws, bolts, rivets, epoxy, hot glue, and other fastening methods.
• Position, align, and fasten parts to complete assemblies.
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers and torque meters to verify product quality.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Label, mark, and tag products and components for identification and inventory tracking.
• Maintain accurate production records and completed part counts.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies, ESD procedures, and production guidelines. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but willing to train motivated candidates.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow detailed assembly procedures.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with electronic assembly or soldering is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 environments is a plus. Why Apply?
