About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive team and play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational growth of the business. The COO will be responsible for translating the CEO's vision into daily operations, with a strong focus on the core functions of the dealership, including sales, rental, service, parts, logistics, and fleet management. This key leadership position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial distribution environments, and a deep understanding of dealership operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. Applicants for the COO role at the company should have 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in a relevant industry, a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred), and a strong background in strategic and data-driven decision-making. The role requires a leader with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, who can also demonstrate a hands-on yet strategic leadership style. Key responsibilities for the COO include team leadership, operations management, financial stewardship, and the ability to manage the full lifecycle of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be adept at performance tracking, and KPI implementation, and will have a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build a high-performance culture.
