Business Operations Supervisor

Overview City of Kodiak is recruiting for a full‑time Business Operations Supervisor in the Harbor Department. The Department seeks an experienced team player who is eager to serve the community’s needs. The Port and Harbors Department provides a variety of services to support public marine facilities that are essential to the continued economic and recreational activities of the community. Responsibilities Under general supervision, oversee and perform specialized billing, receive and process payments, issue receipts, and post payment data to customer accounts. Perform customer billing and enforcement, deliver excellent customer service, maintain records, manage assignment of berths, and maintain procedural documentation and compliance. Supervise administrative support personnel and provide full‑range support to the administrative team. Provide advanced technical support to the department in an efficient and effective manner. Make high‑level independent judgments and work without direct supervision. Work closely with the Finance Department on accounting and financial related functions. Perform duties in a manner that reflects positively on the City and the department. Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
