Major Responsibilities:

·        To transport clients to appointments, shopping, or client events.

·        To schedule and assist clients/customers for the low vision store.

·        To assist with Sight Loss Support Group, as schedule permits.

·        To assist with planning activities for clients young and old.

·        To assist in contacting clients to help keep client database current.

·        Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will process the following qualifications:

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

·        Proficient with entering information into a Database.

·        Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting.

·        Valid PA Driver’s License and willing to drive clients using agency vehicle or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.

·        Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

Experience:

·        Minimum of 2 years in a human services position or related work environment.

·        Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

·        Secure supplies and files.

·        Digital dexterity and eye/hand coordination in the operation of office equipment.

·        Light to moderate lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.

·        Ability to speak to and to hear other employees and clients on the telephone and in person.

·        Body and motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another.

·        Capable of learning to use typical office equipment.

·        Performing simple to moderately complex mathematical calculations.

·        Manipulate a keyboard.

·        Ability to climb stairs.

·        Ability to assist clients with getting in and out of a vehicle and to said location.
