2100 Air Park Rd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106, USA Job Description Posted Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 6:00 AM Summary Position will be responsible for processing contract investigator payments, fixed assets, prepaid expenses and Federal Express invoice expense distributions. This position will review and process travel expense reports for all contract investigators and insure costs are within the ADC Travel Policy guidelines. This position will oversee weekly accounts payable processing and payments. Position will work alongside Accounting Lead in the month and year end closing process and assist in production of monthly financial statements as well as any ad hoc reports that might be requested. Position will work with Accounting Lead, Assistant Controller and Controller in any audit processes as well as yearend review by an outside Accountant. Essential Tasks (minimum requirements) to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: Model ADC LTD NM's core values, policies and procedures and ensure that the same are supported at all times Process all contract investigator 1099 payments Work with field investigators on any questions Process contract investigator travel expense reports per ADC Travel Policy guidelines Oversee and backup Accounts Payable processing and payments Process fixed assets and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis Process large Federal Express invoice expense distributions Assist with requests, analysis and projects as needed Reconciles balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules as assigned Maintains financial security by following internal controls Understanding of the purchase order process and invoicing requirements Assist with month end processing Education, Experience and Skills Adaptable to different situations Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Strong analytical skills Detail oriented Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task An aptitude to effectively learn a company-specific accounting system A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited 4-year college/university or 5 years of experience in lieu of education. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with accounting software Experience with Costpoint and Dayforce is a plus Supervisory Responsibility This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Employment is contingent upon the successful results of a background check and drug screen. In addition to the completion of a federal background investigation and while in the process of obtaining a Top-Secret Clearance, must be able to obtain an interim clearance and/or appropriate agency approvals. Upon receipt of Top-Secret clearance, must be able to maintain active Top-Secret clearance and all agency approvals required of their position. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, schedule to be determined between the core hours of 6:00 a.m. MST and 6:00 p.m. MST. Evening and weekend shifts may be required. ADC offers full-time, hybrid and short-term telework arrangements for eligible employees when strategic priorities and specific work requirements arise, and if the supervisor deems the employee is suited for such an arrangement. Guidelines have been established to assist the employee in efficient production of their job duties and sets forth the expectations to be followed if a regular full-time, hybrid or short term telework arrangement is approved. Work Environment & Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently be required to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer and using the phone.
