Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve high-quality meals to residents, including main courses, salads, and desserts
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure accurate and timely food service
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager, such as food preparation, plating, and plating
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including meal counts, inventory, and special requests
Requirements:
• Dietary Cook certification or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and move food and equipment up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent required
