Primary Job Responsibilities Read blueprints and specifications Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, tape measure, or Pi tape Accept or reject finished or raw material items Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications Discuss inspection results with Dept. Supervisor, Area Leader, and Dept. Engineer Report inspection and test data as needed. Enter into NC Log database Follow all work instructions for performing final inspection criteria and non-conforming product Print material certifications for customer orders as required Prepare all necessary shipment paperwork as required Performs additional training duties as requested Package orders for customer shipments as required Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. Receiving inspection of components from suppliers using various measuring instruments and prints, specification and quality documents. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to understand and follow English instructions. Inspect all products to work instructions. Visual inspection background. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist and kneel. Ability to use hand tools. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
