Actively participates in administering patient care and ensures a safe and comforting environment. Must be able to interact with patients, families, physicians and all levels of staffing an effective manner.Essential Functions:Actively participates in administering patient care and ensures a safe and comforting environmentResponds to patients' needs in a timely mannerAssists patients with ADL's, including meals, bathing, and hygiene needsDemonstrates ability to perform 12 lead EKG.QualificationsEducation: High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Completion of CNA Program, Medical Assistant Program, PCA or similar program preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required. Basic EKG skills required within six months of employment.Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
