General Manager - Dining (Opening Team)

Job Description Job Description An exciting fast-casual Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fusion concept is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a new store opening. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team while overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is an energetic, results-driven leader with strong operational and financial expertise, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive during a demanding seasonal business cycle. Key Responsibilities Restaurant Leadership * Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop FOH and BOH teams. * Foster a positive, accountable, guest-focused culture. * Manage employee performance, recognition, and career development. Operations Management * Direct all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. * Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service. * Manage inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and operational systems. * Ensure compliance with food safety and company policies. Financial Performance * Maintain full P&L responsibility. * Drive sales growth and profitability while managing labor and food costs. * Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve operational performance. * Optimize staffing and scheduling to support business needs. Guest Experience * Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality. * Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. * Monitor guest feedback and maintain consistent brand standards. Qualifications * 3-5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience. * Minimum 2 years managing supervisors, managers, or large hourly teams. * Experience in high-volume fast-casual, QSR, or hospitality concepts preferred. * Strong leadership, financial, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Proven success driving operational improvements and team development. * Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
