Your future success starts here! Summary: As a Parts Representative, you willbe responsible forassistingcustomers with their parts needs and managing the parts inventory. Your role is crucial in ensuring that customers receive the correct parts promptly, contributing to the efficient operation and maintenance of construction,consumerand agricultural equipment. You will also oversee inventory management tomaintainoptimalstock levels and ensure the availability of necessary parts. Education and/or Experience Desired: Experience in an Agricultural or Construction type setting is strongly preferred1-3 years experience in a customer service-related positionHigh School Diploma or equivalent Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each skill correctly. Customer Engagement:Greet customers promptly both in-person and over the phone, using their names whereappropriate. Provide exceptional service by addressing their needs efficiently and thanking them for their business. Needs Assessment:Ask insightful questions to accurately assess customers' parts requirements. Utilize all available resources toidentifythe best solutions and provide expert recommendations. Relationship Building:Develop andmaintainstrong business relationships with customers, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable resource for theirpart-related questions. Marketing Communication:Effectively communicate and promote the companys marketing programs and value propositions to customers. Support for Technicians:Assist technicians and service personnel by promptly retrieving and delivering parts, understanding the critical role shop orders play in the profitability of the Parts department. Inventory Management:Retrieve parts from inventory, manage transfers from other stores, and placeordersas necessary. Ensuretimelyprocessing of incoming and outgoing shipments. Transaction Processing:Generate invoices, process payments accurately, and manage financial transactions with attention to detail. Order Fulfillment:Organize and processpartsorders upon arrival, matching them with corresponding orders and ensuringaccurateinventory placement. Customer Notification:Contact customers to inform them when their orders are ready for pickup. Merchandising:Maintainvisually appealing displays by facing, stocking, and dusting merchandise daily. Design and create seasonal merchandising displays to drive sales. After-Hours Responsibility: Share responsibility for after-hours calls with other parts department staff on a rotational basis to ensure continuous customer support. Employees will be required to carry the phone for the nights and weekends and will be paid $75.00 for their efforts on a weekly basis. This will occur April - November. The employee will receive an additional $75.00 if they need to go to the store and paid per occurrence. In addition, there will be mileage reimbursement. Lead Referral:Identifyand refer potential sales opportunities toappropriate companystaff. Work Area Maintenance:Ensure a clean, organized, and safe parts area, always adhering to safety guidelines. Inventory Accuracy:Assistinmaintainingaccurateinventory records andparticipatein the annual physical inventory process as needed. Professional Development:Stay informed about equipment and market trends by engaging in training sessions, reading product bulletins, andutilizingother educational resources.
