Work Schedule

Monday to Thursday: onsite work with colleagues. Friday: flexible work location based on job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver annual and long-term financial results for the Rocklin Commercial Sales Office.
• Achieve annual objectives for profit, volume, margins, business mix, and market share across all business streams.
• Lead customer and district sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, account penetration, and customer retention.
• Hire, onboard, assess, and train sales associates, set quotas, and provide ongoing skill development.
• Forecast sales accurately and utilize Trane sales tools and systems consistently.
• Assemble account teams and collaborate with Account Managers with varying business development needs and product portfolios.
• Ensure sales office compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational integrity.
• Support human capital strategies, including employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent education and experience).
• Minimum ten (10) years of HVAC industry or related experience.
• Knowledge of Energy Management Systems, HVAC systems, temperature controls, or process control management.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive sales managerial experience.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no significant traffic violations in the past three years.

Compensation

• Annual base salary range: $253,935.00 – $366,975.00.
• Compensation type: Salary.
• Incentive eligibility: Yes.
• Sales commission eligibility: No.
• Compensation will reflect seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
