Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Provide evaluations, counseling, and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families with a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties including dyslexia, writing difficulties, math disorders, and other school-related learning problems.Conduct relevant physical, developmental, and emotional-behavioral evaluations of children/adolescents between the ages of Newborn and 21 years of age.Conduct specialty assessments as needed (e.g. - genetic dysmorphology, motor functioning, feeding/diet, and sleep).Meet with the leaders of the child and adolescent behavioral health team to discuss complex cases and assist in the development of specialized assessment and treatment programs.Work with schools, preschools, and other agencies involved with developmental care and education to advocate for patients.Provide standardized diagnostic assessments for autism and specialty assessments for ADHD and anxiety.Provide direct education to residents, medical students, allied health providers, and junior members of the medical staff.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.Active or Eligible for a New York State Medical License.Wages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $236,000* (board eligible); $241,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120** (board eligible) and $360,620** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
