Reliable Janitor/Custodian needed weekdays to clean elementary school

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and consistent Janitor/Custodian to maintain cleanliness at an elementary school on weekdays. This role requires professional cleaning experience and dedication to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for students and staff. The position operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $12.25 an hour (no taxes taken out). Pay day is the 1st and 16th of each month via Cash app, Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, or direct deposit.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
Dust all surfaces regularly
Empty trash receptacles and pick-up all trash around campus and playgrounds
Clean and disinfect restrooms thoroughly
Attend to student accidents
Dust blinds and windowsills
Remove dirt, dust, cobwebs, and debris from corners and crevices in halls in common areas
Perform daily floor maintenance and upkeep

Required Qualifications

Professional cleaning experience
Reliable transportation and working cell phone
Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of custodial service experience
High school diploma or equivalent
