Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional ambitions
- Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize research-based methods to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide instructions and support to patients and their loved ones on therapy practices to encourage progress outside of sessions
- Track Progress and Adjust Interventions: Monitor clinical outcomes, document developments, and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are welcomed and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification required
- Genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their utmost level of independence
- Compassionate and clear communication skills with both patients and team members
- Creative problem-solving abilities and flexibility to adapt treatment plans to meet diverse patient needs
