Davis Business Law is an Inc 5000 company with ten offices in four states. We have twenty-five attorneys with expansion plans. We describe ourselves as “The Family Doctor of Business Law.” The CLO will assist our leadership team as the “Alpha Wolf” for our attorneys.

This position is at our home office in Enid with frequent travel to the branches.  Priority will be given to candidates from Enid and/or Northwest Oklahoma with significant ties to the community so that the CLO will have the desire and commitment to live in Enid.

The CLO position requires at least ten years of legal experience including litigation and time keeping. We are looking for a seasoned lawyer ready to transition to a management role for a long-term adventure and challenge with our growing company.

Primary Responsibilities :

·         Hiring : Assist the Chief Talent Officer (CTO) in the hiring attorneys.

·         Coaching: Lead our structured attorney coaching to further develop their skillsets and to foster retention.

·         Manage Client Issues: Work with Intake and Case Finance to address client or case related matters both during client representation and upon attorney separation.

·         Leadership Team : Collaborate with the other leaders of the firm to optimize the performance.

Needed Traits and Skills :

·         Experience in Litigation, Case Finance, Timekeeping and, to a lesser degree, Business Transactions

·         Emotional Intelligence

·         Willing to Learn and Grow with Us

·         Computer Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity or ability to learn Clio.

·         Ability to have Crucial Conversations
