Surgical, Vascular Surgeon

Job Description

Broward Health, one of the largest and most respected healthcare systems in South Florida, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and visionary surgeon to build a high-performing service line while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a supportive multidisciplinary team. The new physician will see a broad array of cases, both open and endovascular, in a fast-paced and busy environment at our L1 and L2 facilities, supporting a busy emergency department. 

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular conditions including arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders.
\n
• Perform both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular procedures.
\n
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Participate in patient consultations, preoperative evaluations, and postoperative follow-ups. 
\n
• Participate in call rotation to provide emergency vascular coverage.
\n
• Provide mentorship and education for medical students, residents, and fellows (if applicable).
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviews. 
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
\n
• Completion of a general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship.
\n
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
\n
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure. 
\n
• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in a hospital-based setting.
\n
