Event Usher

LHH is looking for Event Ushers for one of our clients in Foxborough, Massachusetts. This will be a temporary, part time role for approximately two weeks to get started.
- Pay rate: $25/hour
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (dates vary by location – listed)
- Background check required
About the Need
- Stationed in an office space within a hotel to provide registration information to event guests
- Candidates will receive 1 hour of training on Day 1 before the office opens to the public
- Office space will be a conference room within the hotel
- Registration check in and information to event guests
Duties
- Unlock the area that houses the guest reception each morning
- Ensure the space is ready for guests to arrive
- Meet with guests to distribute passes
- Look up guests in On Location’s system
- Verify guest ID and validate that they are eligible to receive passes
Looking for/Must Haves:
- Very polished, ideally proven performers, who can be the face of organization and hand out passes to clients who have bought passes. Will need to have a hospitality mindset.
- Must be professional, friendly, and welcoming.
- Must be able to verify IDs and navigate systems to verify client info - mainly via Excel
- Need dependable people who can 100% commit to the dates.
Individuals will need to use personal computers, so must have a personal computer they are willing to bring and use.
- Dress code: Black, grey, or blue pants and a white shirt. Can wear Adidas tennis shoes, but no other brand visual on shoes.
Volumes:
- On Location anticipates shifts being very busy.
- In the event of downtime, please ensure actions are professional. Cannot play on phone, listen to Podcasts, etc. Talking amongst the group and reading are fine but must prioritize customers.
- The associates must coordinate their 1-hour lunch to ensure 2 people are in the space available for customers at all times, especially during peak windows listed below.
