Polysomnographic Technologist
Schedule: - Shift: Night - Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - Hours: 10H Night shift, approximately 8 PM - 6:30 AM
Assignment Details: - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
Requirements: - Registration or registry eligible preferred - Minimum one year of sleep lab experience - High school education required - Epic experience required
Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform polysomnography, assessing multiple physiological parameters during sleep. - Conduct night sleep studies and multiple sleep latency tests, ensuring quality assurance between 90-100%. - Titrate CPAP/BIPAP independently based on physician orders. - Administer oxygen therapy in conjunction with CPAP/BIPAP as needed. - Troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions during studies. - Collect and evaluate patient information and document any clinical manifestations during testing.
Compliance / Notes: - Continuing education and attendance at sleep meetings is encouraged. - Comply with all clinic policies and guidelines. - Participate in quality improvement activities.
