The position contributes to AI-enabled, data-driven solutions that help users work across complex datasets at scale, improve operational outcomes, and accelerate the delivery of mission-relevant applications and services. All work is performed in secure environments. Work location is Joint Base Anacostia, Arlington, VA, or Reston, VA.Responsibilities: Design, analyze and develop geo-spatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector productsPerforms geographic information systems (GIS) analyses on natural resources dataPlans, designs, develops, documents and analyzes spatial and relational databasesApplies software to manage spatial and related tabular dataBuilds databases by capturing map information with coordinate digitizerProduces computer map products depicting contents of databases, Locates sources of GIS dataMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field with 4-7 years of experience.Experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis.Develops geospatial applications and performs complex GIS analyses to support intelligence requirements.Active Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with system integration and database managementRelevant technical or project management certificationsAbility to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologiesPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range. The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $83,000.00 - $139,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
