Shift Lead

Job Description If you do NOT have a GENUINE love of dogs, this is not the place for you. We are seeking people who are mature enough to understand and accept the responsibility of caring for other people's "children". Your job will entail supervising active, playful dogs all day, ensuring a safe pack environment, the happiness of the dogs, and a very clean daycare facility. This is a high-energy, active position that will get you dirty, but it’s also very rewarding for those who LOVE working with dogs! Our AM Shift is typically from 6am to 2pm, and our PM Shift is typically from 1:45pm to 9:45pm. 18 years of age or older Ability to work on your feet for 6 hours No fear of dogs of any size or breed Ability to lift 50 pounds with no restrictions Ability to handle dogs up to 150 pounds Maintain a clean and organized workspace Maintain regular and punctual attendance Adhere to and embrace our operational, health, safety, sanitization, and security policies/procedures Energetic and enthusiastic attitude, including the delivery of exceptional service to both our 4‑legged and 2‑legged clients Able to build relationships, work as part of a team, and have strong interpersonal skills Must have the ability to work either one weekend day each week or one full weekend a month Able to work days, evenings and some holidays Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience This is a new Dogtopia location that is currently under construction and will be opening very soon.
