Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years RN experience required 1 year in specialty experience required License: WV or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS/BCLS ACLS Must-Have: Every other weekend required First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met Flu shot required with medical exemptions only Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The position requires working 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role includes caring for a diverse patient population with medical conditions including cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary issues. The unit has 32 beds and provides telemetry monitoring. Nurses will be expected to float within their scope if necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and at least 1 year of experience in this specialty. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, and they must be through the American Heart Association. The role requires providing care every other weekend. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license from West Virginia or a compact RN license. The ability to provide references from at least 2 managers or charge nurses within the last 2 years is necessary. All personnel must comply with the flu vaccination requirement unless a valid medical exemption is provided.
