Embark on an impactful contract role supporting students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This assignment covers a leave of absence for the fall, with a likely start in mid-October and flexible end date. The need is for two SLPs to serve at the preschool and middle school levels, enabling you to focus on age-appropriate interventions and make a significant difference in students’ communication skills. What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active California SLP license Previous experience working in school settings, preferably at preschool and/or middle school levels Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities Commitment to on-site services throughout the assignment Adaptable to temporary leave-of-absence coverage What You’ll Do Provide high-quality speech-language therapy for preschool and/or middle school students Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work as an integral part of student support teams Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans Compensation for this position ranges from $47.53 to $67.53.
