Job Description:

\n

The client is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology UC team. This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the firm's Unified Communications and collaboration platforms, with a primary focus on Zoom.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced enterprise environment supporting voice, video, and collaboration technologies. They will partner closely with Operations and Service Desk teams to support escalations, as well as business stakeholders to deliver reliable communication services and exceptional user experiences. In addition, this individual will assist with platform administration, governance, and policy management.

This position requires an engineer with hands-on UC administration experience who is looking to broaden their expertise across enterprise collaboration, conferencing, voice, and platform management.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Administer and support Zoom services including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone, user provisioning, and group management.
\n
• Support and troubleshoot escalations for voice, video, and collaboration technologies across the enterprise.
\n
• Support enterprise UC devices, desk phones, room devices, and collaboration peripherals.
\n
• Provide occasional onsite and field support for deployments, conference rooms, and executive users when necessary.
\n
• Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, operational documentation, support runbooks, and user guides to support the Operations and Service Desk teams.
\n
• Gain familiarity with adjacent technologies including trading communications platforms (Cloud9), dictation solutions, and compliance-related communication technologies.
\n
• Participate in platform upgrades, change control process, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 5+ years of experience supporting Unified Communications, collaboration, or workplace technology platforms.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Zoom in an enterprise environment.
\n
• Experience supporting enterprise voice, video conferencing, and collaboration solutions.
\n
• Familiarity with the Zoom Workplace ecosystem at minimum Zoom Phone, Zoom Meetings, and Zoom Rooms.
\n
• Experience supporting conference room and AV technologies.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Experience creating technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures.
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
\n
• Willingness to provide onsite and field support when required.
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n
• Financial services industry experience.
\n
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Teams Meetings
\n
• Exposure to Cloud9, trading communications platforms, or compliance recording solutions.
\n
• Experience supporting dictation platforms.
\n
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
\n
• Basic understanding of VoIP, SIP, and UC infrastructure.
