At Battle Motors, we believe the most fulfilling place to work is where extraordinary people collaborate to solve difficult problems.**Role and Responsibilities*** Answers and directs departmental phone calls.* Receives and distributes office mail.* Schedules and organizes appointments; takes minutes during departmental meetings.* Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.* Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department.* Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.* May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.* Researches and compares incentive compensation plans offered by demographically comparable organizations; assesses competitors’ plans and makes recommendations for enhancements or improvements required to keep the organization’s plans competitive and effective.* Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.* Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.* Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation scales and structures.* Develop, administer, and maintain talent management processes.* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.* Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.* Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications and Education Requirements*** Three years of experience of administrative training and administering compensation* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Extensive knowledge of payroll and compensation* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software**Preferred experience and skills*** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related* SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCPThis position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.
