Tech Lead with Angular 20 exp

Job Title: Tech Lead - (70% Angular, 30% Java)

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Note: Tech Lead based in New Jersey to manage 2 squads and work with Product Manager.

Job Description:
Oversee end-to-end delivery of a cross-functional team. Collaborate with Product Owner to plan, achieve outcomes, and report results. Ensure high-quality technical contributions, address risks, and maintain efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee delivery of complex projects; track and report delivery and NFR metrics
Identify and address technical and architectural risks, including downtime and security
Participate in design reviews and own system design accountability
Negotiate scope, speed, and quality trade-offs with Product Owner
Break down projects, create execution plans, monitor team pace
Mentor engineers and support performance and career development
Participate in hiring and headcount planning
Share knowledge and contribute to cross-team initiatives

Technical Skills:

Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React
REST APIs and web services
SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)
AWS, Azure, or GCP
Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in Java and frontend (JavaScript, Angular)
Experience delivering complex projects
Agile and DevOps experience

Additional Skills:

Python or Bash
Docker, Kubernetes
