Housekeeper (Environmental Services)

Shift:  7am-3:30pm | Rotating Weekends & 3 Holidays per year
Pay: $16-$18 based on experience

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this vital role, you will contribute directly to the patient experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, public areas, and common spaces following established hospital procedures and infection control standards.
• Complete discharge cleaning of inpatient rooms and prepare rooms efficiently for new patient admissions.
• Set up and reconfigure patient rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, damaged furniture, or facility maintenance concerns to the supervisor or manager promptly.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Support a positive patient and visitor experience through exceptional housekeeping services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or Environmental Services (EVS) experience , preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Candidates must be able to provide the following:

• Two professional reference letters from a supervisor within the past two years
• 7 year background check
• Drug Screen
• TB Test
• Proof of required immunizations and/or titers:
  • Tdap
  • COVID-19
  • Influenza (Flu)
  • MMR Vaccination or Titer
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination or Titer
  • Varicella Vaccination or Titer
