We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Information Technology to oversee our IT operations, infrastructure, systems security, and technical support services. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for defining technical strategy, maintaining system reliability, driving digital transformation projects, and managing the IT budget. You will lead a team of IT specialists and system administrators, ensuring that our technical infrastructure scales seamlessly to support business operations while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Oversee the administration, optimization, and reliability of core IT infrastructure, cloud services, networks, hardware, and enterprise software systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, technology licensing, hardware procurement, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with external technology partners.
• Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery, system backup, and business continuity plans (BC/DR) to ensure minimal operational downtime.

Information Security & Compliance

• Partner with Information Security teams to enforce data protection protocols, identity and access management (IAM), and endpoint security measures.
• Ensure IT infrastructure and policies comply with industry standards, legal mandates, and data privacy regulations (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Conduct routine IT risk assessments, system audits, and vulnerability remediation across company networks and devices.

Team Leadership & Project Management

• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT support and systems team, establishing clear performance goals, training programs, and operational workflows.
• Manage help desk operations to deliver fast, reliable technical support and issue resolution across on-site and remote employees.
• Drive end-to-end IT project delivery, including system migrations, cloud integrations, and hardware rollouts, managing timelines, scope, and resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Operational Expertise

• Infrastructure & Cloud: Hands-on experience managing cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Workspace), SaaS tools, virtual networks, and hybrid server architectures.
• Identity & Access Management: Deep familiarity with identity providers and directory services (e.g., Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Networking & Hardware: Strong understanding of network topology, firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools (e.g., Jamf, Intune).
• Help Desk & ITIL: Understanding of ITIL framework, ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk, ServiceNow), and SLA management.

Soft Skills & Strategic Leadership

• Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities during technical outages or operational transitions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business leadership and manage vendor negotiations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 6+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2+ years in an IT management, team lead, or supervisory role.
• Certifications: Professional IT certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+ / Network+, CISSP, or cloud provider certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).

• Salary Range: $130,000 – $165,000 annually (commensurate with experience) + performance bonus.
