Whether you are early in your career or an expert in your field, you will find HSS an innovative, supportive and inclusive environment.Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise.Position SummarySuccessful candidate will support the clinical nutrition team at Hospital for Special Surgery by providing comprehensive nutrition care to our patients including but not limited to adult/pediatric nutrition assessment and re-assessment, malnutrition identification and management, nutrition support administration, nutrition education, and discharge planning.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nutrition care to inpatients according to medical condition and nutrition needsDevelop treatment plan to promote wound healing after surgery and maintenanceParticipate in interdisciplinary meetings and communicationsProvide nutrition education and counselingSkills/Attributes requiredStrong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service and ability to communicate with all team members to resolve problemsAbility to take initiative, work independently and efficientlyStrong clinical and critical thinking skillsAbility to handle heavy workload with good time management skills and efficiencyExperience with Epic and CBORD (Foodservice Suite) preferredRequired CredentialsRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD)Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) in NYSMasters degree preferredBenefits - Not eligibleOther Requirements#LI-NR1 #LI-Onsite
