Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant collaborates with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that improve patients' mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Key Responsibilities: Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals collaboratively, educates patients and families, provides discharge instructions, and refers to community resources. Documents treatments per protocols and ensures compliance with standards. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy, licensure as a PTA, and BLS certification. Must possess effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills. Core Duties: Maintains confidentiality, adheres to ethical standards, participates in professional development, and supports a positive patient and team environment. Ensures safety, infection control, and participates in meetings and training. Additional Requirements: Complies with policies, standards, and codes of conduct.
