Assist RNs with patient care tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, documentation, and patient education. Manage the milieu effectively to promote positive patient experiences. Escort patients to activities, meals, breaks, and appointments outside the unit. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma preferred. Experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients, is preferred. Valid driver’s license, a good Motor Vehicle Report, and proof of insurance are required if using personal or hospital vehicles.
