Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Endocrinology Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient specialty practice in Southern Connecticut. This role requires at least three years of provider experience and is ideal for a Physician Assistant with experience in endocrinology, diabetes management, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, or a related specialty. The incoming provider will work closely with endocrinologists, APPs, and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive outpatient endocrine care. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing endocrinology patients, providing care for diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, and related conditions, conducting follow-up visits and patient assessments, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing, developing and adjusting treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, educating patients on medications, lifestyle changes, and disease management, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and supporting continuity of care within the endocrinology program. Requirements include being a certified physician assistant with an active or eligible Connecticut PA license, a minimum of three years of provider experience, and experience in endocrinology or diabetes management.
